About Manchester International Airport

Manchester Airport is one of the busiest airports in the United Kingdom. The airport is just a 20 minute drive or 10 miles south of city centre, the Airport is reached by the M56 motorway at Junction 5. Manchester International Airport’s ground transport system is known as “The Station” and houses the bus, coach and railway stations. Passengers can access Manchester Piccadilly Station and also other national rail networks. National Express coaches and Skyline busses run regularly from the airport.

Manchester Airport has three terminals; Terminals 1, 2 and 3. Terminals 1 and 2 are linked by “Skylink” which connects the two terminals via a travellator and also connects the Airport to its ground transport system

Airport Facilities
There are ample baby changing facilities at the airport. These are available in all toilet facilities; equipped with changing tables, nappy dispensers and other essential equipment. For comfort and privacy, special babycare rooms are provided for those travelling with infants.

Disabled toilets are available in all toilet bays. Wheelchair and porter assistance are free of charge, though you will have to make prior arrangements for these.

There are multi-faith prayer rooms, available 24 hours a day for those wanting quiet contemplation time and prayer.
